Developing ideas about beauty, sustainability and togetherness can easily drift into utopia, unless…

During the 5th week of RE:Think yor profession, a NEB-based Challenge-based learning programme livepods developed for Teach Erasmus+ Project, students exchange their first ideas and views with their communities and neighbourhoods.

To help students structure their interactions, we developed a “democracy game”, and helped them follow up by designing a survey to collect feedback from neighbors.

Last week we introduced how we set the stage for rethinking any profession against the principles of the #neweuropeanbauhaus in the Teach Erasmus+ Project. This week it is all about beautiful.

RE:Think your profession, an introduction

What if the mission of any profession (even the one you are studying, or teaching!) was to create and share beautiful things and experiences?
What if your future work was a champion of sustainability and regeneration?
What if your profession could help to build communities that care for their members and for others?
This is RE:Think your profession in a nutshell.

RE:Think your profession is a 13 weeks programme that livepods designed and tutored for VET’s schools across Europe within Teach Erasmus+ Project, a project that merges Challenge-Based Learning (CBL) and the principles of the #NewEuropeanBauhaus.

In the past years our partners from the University of Trento trained a cohort of teachers in traditional CBL methodology, while we developed a weekly program that “contaminates” the methodology under the light of the New European Bauahus principles.
The online training for traditional CBL is already online and linked below.

Now it’s time to share with you the “updated” learning path we designed. If you are interested in using it in your own institution, please reach out. We’re already at work to make it a free resources for everyone to use.

From now until September we will be publishing one video a week, replicating the path that the students followed.
